Munnabhai Chale Amerika (Hindi Movie)

Munna Bhai Chale Amerika is an upcoming Hindi comedy film produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed byRajkumar Hirani. It is the third film of the Munna Bhai series (after Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and Lage Raho Munna Bhai) all of which follow the comic adventures of Munna Bhai or Murli Prasad Sharma (Sanjay Dutt) and his sidekick, Circuit or Sarkeshwar (Arshad Warsi).

Director Rajkumar Hirani had postponed, at one point, even shelved the release of the film, after the release of My Name Is Khan. In My Name is Khan, Shah Rukh Khan was seen meeting a look-alike of Barack Obama, and Hirani had also planned to use Obama in the film. Also, he felt that the idea of a common man meeting the President of the US had become normal. The film is all set to start rolling in 2011.
A two-minute teaser trailer was released in early 2007 which depicts Munna and Circuit learning English. They ask each other to translate the meanings of various sentences of Hindi to English, but get them wrong (they think it is right) to comic relief.

Picture
The 16-year-old singing sensation is currently looking to buy his first home and although he enjoys living in Atlanta, Georgia, at the moment, he would love to buy a property in his homeland.

He said: ' have a lot of friends in Atlanta now but I think I might move back to Canada.'

The 'Baby' hitmaker is worth an estimated $100 million and he admits he has to hire people to keep track of his money.

Asked how he looks after his fortune, he said: ' have a business manager.'

Justin lost out on a Grammy Award for Best New Artist to Esperanza Spalding last night (13.02.11) and though he was disappointed not to win, the teenager says his defeat makes him want to work harder.

He told MTV News: ' had no clue what was going to happen. I worked really hard these past few years and you know, I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed. But, you know, I'm gonna come back next year and we'll take a few home.

''m inspired to work harder than I did last year. It's going to be hard, but I'm going to try. Bieber fans, don't get too upset. Be happy.'

Lady Gaga and Lady Antebellm big winners at last night's Grammy Awards

The eccentric singer - who was carried down the prestigious event's red carpet in a giant egg, before 'hatching' out of it ahead of a performance of her new song 'Born This Way' - took home three prizes, including Best Pop Vocal Album for 'The Fame Monster', and while accepting her award she paid tribute to Whitney Houston.

Gaga - who also won the awards for Best Short-Form Video and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for single 'Bad Romance' - said: "I wanted to thank Whitney, because when I wrote 'Born this Way', I imagined she was singing it - because I wasn't secure enough in myself to imagine I was a superstar.

"So, Whitney, I imagined you were singing born this way when I wrote it."

While Gaga picked up three awards Lady Antebellum took home five prizes including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for their hit 'Need You Now'.
The show - which was held at Los Angeles' Staples center - began with a tribute to Aretha Franklin, which was performed by Christina Aguilera, Florence Welch, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams.

Aretha - who is suffering from pancreatic cancer - appeared via video link to thank the singers for their performance.

The 68-year-old singer said: "I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be with you this evening. Thank you to all of you who took the time to send me get well cards and flowers, beautiful flowers, and most importantly, your prayers."

Coldplay taking metal approach on new album

Picture
Coldplay have been approaching new songs 'as though they are a metal band'.

The group ' comprising Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Will Champion and Jonny Buckland ' are presently working on their long-awaited fifth album and love experimenting with playing them in different ways, with often surprising results.

Their Roadie #42 blog explained: 'Chris suggests playing a gorgeous melody as though they are a metal band. The first stab at this is predictably (and intentionally) comedic.

'They pursue it though, playing one section over and over in a loop, varying the dynamic from pin drop quiet to aggressive and bolshy. They move through the transitions as one unit, as though someone is pressing their foot smoothly on some huge gas pedal somewhere.'

Ash frontman Tim Wheeler has been working with the 'Fix you' hitmakers on an as-yet unnamed track, and the roadie revealed the music he completed with the band was based on a small improvisation the 'Oh Yeah' singer came up with when practicing.

The blog explained: 'Tim straps on a guitar and jumps into the day's tune. He's fiddling around at the top of the neck, looking for melodies, just throwing out streams of notes.

'Chris starts to call over the mic 'What was that?'. He sings a tiny snippet of something that Tim played only once - almost as something to just get his fingers moving.

't's such a tiny cluster of notes that for a while it's unclear where they should fall in the chord sequence until finally they drop into place and twinkle like they've been there all along, just waiting to be discovered.'
